Description: Barossa Old Vine Company (BOVC) has taken over 100 years to evolve, and combines unique history with unquestionable passion. Small volumes of individually crafted wines are created from the finest fruit with the best (not necessarily the most modern) equipment.
Tasting Note: A limited cuvee produced from 109, 127, & 152-year-old vineyards, this 2003 Shiraz was aged 24 months in a combination of new French & American wood as well as a small amount of older oak. Huge, ripe, surprisingly subtle & polished, this dense purple-hued wine offers layers of blackberry & currant fruit intermingled with spicy new oak, licorice, cedar, & loamy soil characteristics. Full-bodied & voluptuous, but not over the top, this beauty should drink well for years
