| Description: | The 2014 Morey St Denis 1er Cru la Riotte has a very expressive, mineral-driven bouquet with just a dash of black pepper coming through with aeration. The palate is lively on the entry with grippy tannin, tightly wound red berry fruit with a structured, quite masculine, stony-faced finish that should lighten up once in bottle. Even then, one can see how it gains vigor in the glass and attains wonderful focus. |
