| Description: | A more deeply pitched and more sauvage-inflected nose is comprised by ripe and fresh aromas of poached plum and cassis. The succulent, energetic and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while offering fine depth and persistence on the dusty and balanced finale. | Tasting Note: | Very old vines. Laurent has started biodynamic work here, as in a few other vineyards. Deep purple, but not black. Quite elegant while retaining intensity. This is really good with excellent structure behind. Fresh too, with sapidity while the yield was good at up to 35 hl/ha. 12 barrels made where 15 is a great result. 13.05% |
