The grapes are from the old vines in the domaine's half-hectare in this well-situated premier cru. They are mostly destemmed before a gentle fermentation on native yeasts. Too many people overlook the reds from Lafon, but this is particularly good. Give this wine three to five years to open and then drink over the next 10 to 15 years. |
